Broksonic Middle Humidifier

Broksonic Inc. has introduced a new lineup of cool mist humidifiers this year, its first home appliance expansion effort. The company showcased the line at the recent summer New York International Gift Fair.

Based in the Flatiron district in New York City, the company has leveraged its history in the consumer electronics business to make a concerted design and marketing push for the new humidifier assortment this year. It took a decidedly modern and colorful approach to the design of the humidifiers, giving the products a functional yet decorative aspect. “Humidifiers by Broksonic are designed to enhance home décor,” said Freeda Broker, senior vp/merchandising, Broksonic.

There are currently three models in the Broksonic humidifier lineup. All of the collection’s humidifiers feature a cool mist said to restore moisture to the air. Simple-to-use fragrance dispensers give users an aromatherapy option.

Broksonic’s “Middle” humidifier is the smaller model, a cool mist hybrid unit available in colors including red, black, green, orange, yellow, blue, brown, pink, purple and white.

The “Allonge” humidifier has a slender, elongated design. The larger cool mist ultrasonic floor model has three power levels and an aroma diffuser.

In keeping with its décor design focus, Broksonic has also introduced its third cool mist humidifier in the assortment, the nature-inspired “Tree Leaf,” available in hybrid and ultrasonic versions with remote control.

For more on Broksonic’s humidifier assortment, see the upcoming HomeWorld September 3, 2012, issue. This issue also features news coverage and product introductions from the summer New York International Gift Fair.
