BrylaneHome has launched its Fall 2012 Plus Size Living Collection with an enhanced assortment of large scale seating options including new accent chairs, gliders, recliners, office chairs and airbeds. The fall catalog’s upholstered accent chairs and loungers feature heavy duty cross webbing under seats for structural integrity, as well as frames and chair legs made of solid kiln dry hardwood with corner blocking for durability, the direct-to-consumer retailer stated. All chairs feature wider seat width for extra room and comfort. The new chairs come in a wide range of covering fabrics from contemporary micro suede to traditional damask to faux leather so they fit into any style of décor, BrylaneHome noted. The company’s plus-size chairs are tested and rated for use, not just in terms of static weight, with capacities that range up to 500 pounds, according to the company. BrylaneHome has also expanded its portfolio of Plus Size Living office chairs, a line that includes arm and armless chairs up to a 500-pound weight capacity and offers extra wide seat width as well as heavy duty base and casters for easy mobility and durability. With fabric and faux leather coverings, the office chair lineup covers a range of pricepoints starting at $129 on special. “Our efforts to develop new merchandise for the Plus Size Living Collection are in direct response to the incredible success of this innovative product line, as well as the positive feedback from our customers,” said David Milgrom, BrylaneHome senior vp/general brand manager. “The BrylaneHome team understands that plus size consumers need beautiful furniture and practical health-related products that are specially designed for them, as such, the Plus Size Living Collection is the answer to this growing need.” BrylaneHome develops its plus size furniture for easy assembly and UPS or FedEx shipping to customers.
