As fourth quarter approaches, Chef’n has ramped up its kitchen tool and gadgets program. The company has expanded some of the company’s brands such as SleekStor and FreshForce. Kitchen tools added under Chef’n’s FreshForce brand include a silicone serving spoon, pasta spoon, scoop colander, slotted spoon, big spoon and ladle. All FreshForce tools are top-rack dishwasher safe, and suggested retail prices range from $6.99 to $9.99. Also new to FreshForce is a series of three graters. Each has a rubber foot to hold the grater firmly in place as well as a clear plastic cover for safe storage. The new FreshForce lineup includes a fine grater, parmesan grater and coarse cheese grater. Suggested retail price is $9.99 for each. The FreshForce 3-in-1 peeler has one handle and three blades— serrated, julienne or straight— that are easy to change as needed, according to the company. One case stores all blades, and the SRP is $14.99. An Egg Masher rounds out the FreshForce introductions. The Egg Masher has stainless steel tines that slice, mix and mash hard-boiled eggs, and a spatula work end that scrapes sides of bowls and stirs ingredients. The Egg Masher has a suggested retail price of $9.99. Chef'n previewed a number of new products at the International Housewares Association’s Affordable Innovation event last month.
