The Second Kids Food Festival, operated in partnership with Cooking Light magazine, is taking place on November 3 and 4 at Citi Pond in New York's Bryant Park. The festival is designed to fight childhood obesity through kids participating in fun and flavorful activities that teach about balanced food and lifestyle choices. Zak Designs supports the mission of the Kids Food Festival, the company stated. As "a way to help show how fun and colorful healthy cooking can be," Zak is providing the festival with its signature Confetti bowl sets as part of prize package for winning participants, the company noted. "This is a great example of people who are getting involved and putting together a program that is making a real difference in addressing a serious problem in our country, and we’re proud to contribute in some small way to their efforts,” said Irv Zakheim, president and CEO of Zak Designs. The Kids Food Festival, in partnership with Cooking Light, will donate a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales to Food Corps. Tags: Housewares Tabletop |
