Butler Home Products today announced that it has entered into an exclusive agreement with Sponge Technology Corp. to acquire the sales and distribution of the TWIST brand of natural and eco-friendly household cleaning products. TWIST products are 100% biodegradable, and packaging is earth-friendly and recyclable, according to the company. The sponge products are free of dyes and top-rack dishwasher safe. The product range consists of cellulose sponges, scour pads, sponge cloths and more. “The simple and smart designs of the TWIST products are the perfect way for us to enter the natural products market,” said Robert Michelson, president and CEO of Butler. “We have been looking for the right way to enter this segment of the market and this opportunity allows us to do it.” TWIST products are currently available at stores nationwide. Distribution for the products will move from its current location in Boulder to Butler’s distribution center located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The transition is currently underway and shipments from California are planned to begin in November. Butler’s sales team will take on the new TWIST product line as a complement to its current line of traditional cleaning tools. Butler will maintain the existing manufacturing base utilized by the TWIST brand and will expand the line in 2013. Tags: Housewares Organization & Cleaning |
