This holiday season, Sears and Kmart are preparing customized shopping and shipping promotions that their customers can tap into depending on their preferences. In the most basic manifestation, parent Sears Holdings said both chains would feature initiatives including free shipping on orders of $49 or more. In addition Shop Your Way loyalty program members will get a chance to upgrade to Shop Your Way Max for $79 and enjoy unlimited free standard and two-day shopping on a range of mailable Sears and Kmart items. Members who upgrade also have the opportunity to purchase faster shipping upgrades for only 99 cents. Members also get Double Points on qualifying purchases. Members can try out the Max service first with a no obligation 90-day free trial membership. In addition, this year members with confirmed emails receive 5% back in points when they use their Sears credit card. The offer is available through February 2, 2013 at Sears and for an unlimited time at Kmart, the company said. "Sears and Kmart are committed to helping members and customers better manage their lives and budgets, especially during the busy holiday season," said Imran Jooma, senior vp and president, online, marketing, pricing and financial services, Sears Holdings. "We offer a fully-integrated shopping experience that seamlessly blends online, mobile and in-store shopping, with a Shop Your Way Rewards program that delivers even more benefits. Our shopping experience brings millions of products to shoppers' fingertips so they can browse, compare and buy in a way that is most convenient for them. And then have those products delivered either free or at a low cost."
