As the company set its sights on expansion for its PushPan product line with a host of new sizes and styles slated for 2013, Wilkinson, the inventor, patent holder and manufacturer of PushPan, has been awarded the House Beautiful Magazine Award for “Best Kitchenware or Tableware,” in the United Kingdom. PushPan features a patented, integrated silicone seal on its loose base that allowis the base of the pan to slide up and out so cakes can be pushed out without any tearing or sticking. The seal is leak-proof and watertight, and the pan is adjustable, the company said. The Wilkinson PushPan is distributed in the U.S. by Global Marketing, and by Kuhn Rikon under its label. In non-stick carbon steel, PushPan comes in 8-, 8.5-, and 9.5-inch sizes. In anodized aluminum, sizes are 8-, 9- and 10 inches, currently available for immediate shipment. More than 20 new sizes and shapes for PushPan are expected to be available in first quarter 2013.
