RadioShack Corp. has made fresh changes in its executive suite with a Target veteran and another who has a background that includes Wal-Mart, Circuit City and Amazon.com. In September, the company announced that James Gooch had stepped down from his positions as CEO and director. RadioShack has named Troy Risch executive vp/operations, it stated, noting that Risch is a 19-year veteran of Target Corp. His responsibilities will include store operations and real estate. At the same time, Radio Shack named Huey Long executive vp/strategy and consumer insights. Long is a 22-year retail veteran, most recently with Wal-Mart Stores, where he was senior vp, general merchandise manager at Sam's Club, Radio Shack noted.
