HSN, Inc. has appointed Ann Sarnoff to its board of directors, the company announced. She will serve on the board’s compensation and human resources committees. Sarnoff's appointment expands HSNi board to 10 members. Sarnoff currently serves as the COO of BBC Worldwide Americas. From 2006 until joining the BBC in 2010, Sarnoff served as president of Dow Jones Ventures and senior vp/strategy for Dow Jones & Company, Inc. Before that, she was COO of the Women's National Basketball Association after serving 10 years at Viacom Inc. where she ultimately became COO of VH1 and Country Music Television.
