The Blueair Sense air purifier is the winner of a 2012 Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design. The award is the third international design accolade for the product awarded since it was launched this past October. Japan’s Institute of Design Promotion and Sweden’s “Design S” award previously honored the Sense. The Athenaeum Museum honored the Blueair Sense for its design excellence, the company noted. The product won a Good Design Award in the program’s Households Products category. The Sense air purifier employs a second-generation HEPASilentPlus filtration system that removes germs, dust and smoke from the indoor air. It features an interactive motion-sensitive glass top that allows users to change speeds with simple hand swipes above the scratchproof surface. Tags: Housewares Home Environment |
