Hearthware Appoints David Oland To Executive Chef Post Wednesday January 30th, 2013 - 3:29PM

Hearthware Inc., has named Chef David Oland to the position of Executive Chef, reporting to Gene H. Kim, vp and Jay S. Moon, Hearthware President. He replaces Chef Jennifer Dawes, who is no longer with the company. In his new post Oland will be responsible for managing the members of the NuWave Culinary Team, as well as testing and developing recipes for the NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop (PIC) and the NuWave Pro Infrared Oven. He will also appear in online instructional video segments that demonstrate recipes using the Oven and NuWave PIC. New Jersey-born Oland has been a professional chef and culinary school instructor for more than 20 years. According to the company, his professional experience covers a wide range of cuisine with a special emphasis on French, solidified during his tenure as the Executive Chef at the Montparnasse Restaurant, and while serving as the Lead Chef Instructor at the French Culinary Institute.
