Michael Duncan has been appointed president of Luigi Bormioli Corporation, effective today. Marcel Trepanier, who founded the U.S. subsidiary 26 years ago will remain on board as executive director. Duncan, who had been vp of the Stonehaven Group during the last 12 years will be responsible for all aspects of the company's operations, with a strong focus on implementing strategic goals and growth plans, according to the company. "I am pleased that were were able to recruit Michael for this key position. He is well respected in the industry and will bring with him a great deal of dynamism, experience, as well as fresh ideas in all facets of the business, especially in our marketing approach that needs to remain focused on the North American consumer while continuing to produce a fine quality product in Italy," said Trepanier.
