Sears announced that it is rolling out stylish and affordable outdoor living furniture, including under its Ty Pennington brand, patio sets and Kenmore grills, using the upcoming South Beach Wine & Food Festival for the debut. Sears remains the exclusive retailer for the Ty Pennington Style line of outdoor living, home, bed and bath products, the retailer noted.

To feed the interest of festival participants, chef, cookbook author and television host George Hirsch will join Pennington at the Sears Grilling is Happiness Lounge, serving up appetizers and desserts.

"We chose to launch our 2013 line at the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival because the festival's sophisticated yet fun atmosphere is the perfect setting to showcase our new Agio and La-Z-Boy lighted patio collections, as well as our Ty Pennington Style product," said James Alt, vp/seasonal and outdoor living, Sears Holdings. "The outdoor living lifestyle is about the entire alfresco experience, and we're thrilled to have both Ty Pennington and George Hirsch serve as hosts of the Sears Grilling is Happiness Lounge."

Sears plans to provide video from the festival February 21-24 at www.sears.com/grillingishappiness. The retailer’s program also includes introduction of two exclusive lines of lighted patio collections, the Agio Bella Luna and La-Z-Boy Halley Collections. Sears will showcase samples from both collections at the event. They have been rolling out to Sears stores nationwide and through Sears.com. The Agio Bella Luna Collection includes lighted tables and bar in traditional styling with plush tailored cushions, Sears related. The La-Z-Boy Halley Collection offers living room comfort for the outdoor space combining Parisian-inspired luxury with all-weather materials, the retailer asserted.

The two new offerings round out an outdoor furniture assortment that also includes the La-Z-Boy Dylan group and three collections from Pennington, Sears stated.
