Michael Prazoff, chairman of L’Image Home Products, part of the Elite Group, today announced the appointment of Ian Mendez as president of the company. Mendez joined the Elite Group in 2004 as director, product development and consumer services. In 2006, Mendez transitioned to the L’Image division as vp/sales and most recently served as executive vp. Mendez will continue to provide strategic leadership and direction to the organization and will be responsible for day-to-day operations and all aspects of L’Image’s business. A lighting industry veteran of over 20 years, Mendez has held various corporate management positions in sales, marketing and operations in the manufacturing sector. L’Image Home Products develops, manufactures and markets everyday lighting, electrical items and batteries under the Sunbeam brand through major retailers in North America and Europe.
