Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores has announced the appointment of Riddianne Kline to senior vp, chief marketing and merchandising officer. She retains her current responsibilities overseeing both marketing and advertising for Jo-Ann but also will assume supervision of the merchandising, product development and inventory management groups. "Riddi's knowledge of the fabric and craft industry, proven leadership skills and customer-centric approach make her the perfect fit for this role," said Travis Smith, Jo-Ann Stores president and CEO. "Her contributions to both Jo-Ann and the industry provide a great foundation as she drives the organization to the next level." Since joining Jo-Ann in 2002, Kline has revamped the company's advertising program, overseen the internal integration of the Joann.com business, led digital and mobile initiatives, and developed a formalized consumer insights and research function within the marketing department, the retailer stated. Kline most recently served as senior vp and chief marketing officer. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Craft and Hobby Association. Tags: Housewares Retail |
