Clipper's Veloce Cookware from its ThermAlCast Collection

Clipper Corp. is making its debut in the retail cookware market with ThermAlCast, a new cast aluminum cookware line from the commercial food service cookware company. The company is unveiling the three-series collection at the International Home + Housewares Show.

Clipper charged its engineering team with developing a line of cookware that would elevate the innovation conversation to something more meaningful for the consumer, according to Todd Rogers, general manager/consumer product group for Clipper. Their response was ThermAlCast.

“When we started reviewing raw materials for our new line of consumer cookware, we kept coming back to cast aluminum over and over. It’s got great thermal properties and since it’s cast, our engineers are able to direct the metal to where it’s needed most— namely the rim and the base of the pan,” Rogers explained. 

All of Clipper’s ThermAlCast cookware features Whitford’s Eterna non-stick coating on the interiors of the pan for durability and easy clean-up, Rogers continued. “We chose Whitford’s Eterna PTFE coating for this line because our thought process was that this is a legacy product that is going to last a long time,” Rogers said.
