Keurig has introduced new Vue single-serve brewer model, giving the company a good, better, best Vue assortment for the home market. The new Vue V500 represents the opening pricepoint of the Vue line, carrying a suggested retail of $169.99, compared to the original Vue V700, which has been repositioned at $199.99 from its original $229 pricepoint, and the Vue V600, which has a $189.99 suggested retail. With the filling out of the Vue assortment Keurig now offers single serve brewers in K-cup format from $99.99 to $179.99 and Vue brewers from $169.99 to $199.99. The new Vue V500 features a black and white touchscreen display, removable drip tray, adjustable plate and a choice of 10 cup sizes. In keeping with the “Bigger, Stronger, Hotter” positioning of the Vue systems, the V500 is fully programmable and offers both strength and temperature control as well as cup size selection. It also has an energy saver mode and a 60-ounce water reservoir. Both of the step-up Vues have 74-ounce water reservoirs. Tags: Housewares Small Electrics |
