Stars Under the Stars, part of the activity lineup at the High Point Market, is offering two nights of entertainment at this year’s spring event, running from April 20 to 25. The focal point of the program this spring is wine and music. On Saturday, April 20, the program will kick off with Carolina Stars, an event that features a tasting menu from North Carolina wineries paired with famed Southern cuisine and accompanied by music from jazz fusion band Tizer, according to the High Point Market Authority. On Sunday, April 21, The Temptations will hit the stage with their showcase of renowned hits in an evening of music sponsored by Surya. The Temptations have made their mark on popular music with hits ranging from “My Girl,” and “Papa Was a Rolling Stone,” to “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” and “Get Ready.” Doors open for Stars Under the Stars events at 7 p.m. at Center Stage, between the High Point Transportation Terminal and the Showplace market building. The Temptations concert will begin at 7:30 p.m., HPMA noted. The events include food and drinks available to attendees with a market pass and current photo ID.
