Black+Decker has launched its third generation Steam-Mop, which uses steam to deliver cleaning power for sealed hard floors and surfaces.
The line includes three steam mops, which, when used with the microfiber pad, is said to deliver up to 99.9% germ reduction without using chemicals, according to the company.
Two of the steam mops include a SteamGlove hand attachment, which utilizes a protective silicone and fabric glove to keep the user’s hand away from the hot steam. With a machine washable microfiber pad, the SteamGlove is designed to replace the need for rubber gloves, cloths, scouring pads, disposable wipes and sprays. It is designed to clean stainless steel, glass and sealed surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom.
The new generation steam cleaners are lightweight and include more steam than its predecessor in the highest setting, according to the company. In addition, it includes a SmartSelect variable steam selector that allows users to choose an output level suitable for the task at hand, and a long cleaning cycle due to its large capacity water tank.
The new steam mops will be available in mid-January 2017 at retailers nationwide with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $119 to $199.
