Wahl launched a variety of new grooming tools at the International Home + Housewares Show, including a complete trimming and haircutting kit and new shavers.
The big news in clippers, according to Steven Yde, dvp/marketing, Wahl, is the company’s new Comfort Grip Pro. The complete trimming and haircutting kit is said to pack the same punch as larger sized models but in a compact size.
While the clipper is a smaller format, the blades of the clipper are standard size so users don’t have to compromise on performance, Yde explained. It features self-sharpening precision blades, easy to clean, removable full-size blades and a MaxPower high torque rotary motor. It is also said to operate quietly.
The Comfort Grip Pro clipper is made in the U.S. and includes a five-year limited warranty. It carries a suggested retail price of $49.99.
The Anywhere shaver, one of three new shavers featured at the show, features a rugged body that is washable. According to Yde, it is built for convenience and suitable for the gym or to pack for travel. It can also be used wet or dry, and carries a suggested retail price of $79.99.
