Oxo has introduced its Good Grips Quick Release apple corer. The company said the tool is designed with squeeze handles that grips onto the apple core and then releases it so consumers can throw it right into the trash.
The quick release apple corer will fit a variety of apple core sizes and is intended for one-handed use. The handles can be used to squeeze to close the core while a consumer cores the fruit. Then the handles can be released, which will then release the core.
The apple corer is made of stainless steel and will have a suggested retail price of $11.99. It is expected to ship in July.
