Coravin has added a screw cap to its wine accessories assortment. The company said it is designed for use with its wine preservation opener in order to pour and protect bottles sealed under the new screw cap.
The screw cap is available in two sizes to ensure a proper fit on any bottle, stated the company. The cap combines self-sealing silicone with the cap liner in order to create a tight seal. The cap is said to help preserve an opened bottle of wine for up to three months.
Once the bottle is empty a consumer can remove the screw cap and reuse it. It is said to withstand up to 50 punctures when used with a Coravin wine preservation opener. The Coravin screw cap is available for purchase in packs of six for a suggested retail price of $29.95.
