Peugeot has introduced the Zanzibar salt mill set. The multi-salt mill features interchangeable compartments for a variety of salts and salt mixtures.
To switch salt compartments, the user can push the two buttons on each side of the mill and then pull the top part upward. The mill grinds upside down, a feature that is said to keep tabletops and counters free from residue. The patented stainless steel mechanism is spice specific. The mill features an adjustment ring and offers six pre-defined grind settings.
The boxed set includes a salt mill equipped with three interchangeable compartments. The mill and the lidded additional compartments come on a matching tray. The set also comes with a booklet of tips and recipes.
“The Zanzibar salt mill was inspired by the success story of our Zanzibar pepper bar. Upscale consumers are increasingly sophisticated about their salt choices, and this is a fun way to experience different salt flavors and mixes, and pair them with compatible foods. The Zanzibar salt mill would be a welcome addition and conversation piece on any foodie table,” said Yvette Laugier, general manager, PSP North America.
The Zanzibar salt mill is available now for a suggested retail price of $50.
