Magisso has received a Good Design award for its Vertigo Fruit Plate. Designed by Simon Stevens, the fruit plate is said to keep fruit fresher for longer.
According to the company, a waved surface minimizes the contact between the fruit and the plate. It allows air to flow around the fruit and slows ripening. In addition, the surface pattern prevents the fruit from rolling off the plate and allows users to create long-lasting arrangements easily.
The Magisso Vertigo Fruit Plate is made of pressure casted ceramics. Each plate is hand-finished with food safe metallic glazing.
