Target has doubled the online assortment of furniture offered under its Threshold own brand. The retailer is offering four new collections, the traditional Gilford, the mid-century modern Millsboro, the modern Parsons and eclectic Darley, as well as additional furniture pieces in more colors and patterns. The retailer noted that its own product design and development team created the new collections. Target maintained that customer home furnishing needs prompted it to offer more style options, breadth of assortment and versatility. Julie Guggemos, Target’s svp/product design and development, said, "By doubling our furniture assortment and offering so many new pieces, colors and sizing options, we're hoping to inspire even more guests to put the finishing touches on a room in their house, or even spring for a total redesign." The expanded Threshold collection is now available on Target.com.
