Amazon.com has gotten hip to Brooklyn, as the e-tailer has added its one-hour restaurant delivery in the trendy New York borough, even as the company has enhanced its Dash replenishment service across the U.S.
Brooklyn Prime members can enjoy free one-hour delivery from more than 130 popular restaurants. By using the Prime Now mobile app or visiting the Prime Now website, customers can view participating restaurants, browse menus, place orders, track the status of their delivery and even watch in real time as their delivery courier travels from the restaurant to their address.
At the same time, Amazon added 60 new brands to its Amazon Dash Button to conveniently reorder everyday essentials. Customers mount a Dash button at the point where they use or store a consumable product then, if they are ready to reorder, they only need to push the button to wirelessly generate a replenishment order for delivery to their homes.
