Anova Debuts App-Enabled Sous Vide Cooker

Anova has launched its new Precision Cooker Nano, an app-enabled sous vide unit that the company touts as being the most affordable, lab-grade connected cooking device on the market.

The sous vide cooker features multi-step cooking that allows the cooking time and temperature to be altered via Anova’s app. In addition, the app also allows consumers to control multiple sous vide units simultaneously. Suggested retail price is $100.

“Precise temperature control is key to sous vide cooking,” said John Van den Nieuwenhuizen, vp/design at Anova Culinary. “The Precision Cooker Nano is super-compact, Bluetooth-enabled, and provides users with precision down to the tenth of a degree.”
