Coffee specialists Icosa Brewhouse has launched the Arctic cold brew coffee system via a Kickstarter campaign.
According to the company, the Arctic brews coffee grounds slowly, extracting a maximum amount of flavor to give a smoother texture and sweeter taste than conventional methods. The Arctic features a large capacity carafe made from borosilicate glass for durability, while the reusable lasercut stainless steel filter keeps coarse grounds from the final brew.
The Kickstarter campaign will last through January 7, 2017. The Arctic cold brew system can be purchased for $49, which the company said is approximately 45% off of its retail value. The company said it has currently surpassed its funding goal with almost 3,000 backers.
