Artisan Trends Create Home Potential In Dallas, Las Vegas

DALLAS, LAS VEGAS— Retailers attending the upcoming winter gift shows, here, will find a variety of artisan oriented designs to set the table, from hand crafted beaded napkin rings to hand painted wine chillers. Buyers can also discover tableware products derived from natural materials, from a tea light holder made out of stone to serving boards made from bamboo. Here is just a sampling of what will be showcased at the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, January 18 to 24, and the Las Vegas Market, January 22 to 26.

ARCADIA HOME

Arcadia Home is showcasing its line of artisan-crafted napkin rings in a variety of materials, such as beads, glass or silver-plated wire. Motifs include grapes, flowers, butterflies, snowflakes and seashells.

BLOOMINGVILLE

Bloomingville will feature a variety of ceramic designs in bright or whimsical patterns. For example, the company’s Patrizia pitcher features a bright, yet calming blue pattern, while the Patrizia jar is ideal for housing sugar or jelly at the breakfast table. This jar comes with a bamboo lid and a ceramic spoon for serving. The company is also adding a tropical flair to the table with its ceramic gold pineapple centerpiece and a plate with a fern motif.

CATSTUDIO

The original Geography glassware collection by Catstudio is comprised of all 50 states, and an ever-expanding list of cities, international and favorite vacation destinations. Epicurean’s new Beer Tasting Flight Server features a two-toned base made from the brand’s signature material.

Multiple layers of Forest Stewardship Council certified wood fibers are compressed with a food-safe resin. It holds three four-ounce glasses. The company is also offering four assorted coasters in the material.

Lifetime Brands’ Fred & Friends Grub Mugs porcelain microwave recipe mugs feature porcelain mugs with breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert ideas. Fred’s Cheesy Love Songs cheese board features a mix tape design with the message, “Don’t you… forget about cheese.” It is made of beech wood with laser-etched details.

High-fired porcelain bodies vacuum plated in titanium gives Pampa Bay’s Verona line the look of silver and the convenience of porcelain. The line is said to be dishwasher safe, tarnish free and stain resistant.

Q SQUARED NYC

Q Squared NYC will feature four new patterns for spring 2017: Limonata features a fresh cascade of lemons and romantic blossoms. Porto Chalé is a bright rooster/country pattern, while Captiva is teeming with tranquil sea life. Q Squared’s Classica in Black collection includes a dinner plate, salad plate and bread and butter plate to mix and match with the company’s modern Diamond Round collection.

SEA STONES

Sea Stones is debuting a beverage server and coaster set. The user can store it in the freezer so the piece is ready to keep drinks cold. The heavy coasters are designed not to stick to the bottom of a glass and have a thick cork on the bottom.

Sea Stones’ harmony tea light holder features granite rings nestled in pockets carved into a solid cherry base. The cherry has a hand-rubbed oil finish and, according to the company, is responsibly harvested and certified sustainable by the Forest Stewardship Council.

Totally Bamboo is expanding its Destination Serving Board collection. Each of the seven new destinations includes laser-engraved iconic points of interest, cities and geographical landmarks unique to those areas. These new destinations will join existing favorites: California, Texas, Maui, O’ahu, Michigan and Wisconsin.
