NEW YORK— While the cookware segment weathered rough seas during 2017, bakeware gained in sales. Market growth was driven by the continued use of social media sites like Instagram and Pinterest among consumers, as well as bakeware’s versatility.
Consumers, said vendors, were looking for durable products when shopping for bakeware, which resulted in many manufacturers debuting commercial-grade bakeware this year.
