NEW YORK— The barware category witnessed a busy year filled with product launches and line extensions. While there were many highlights, one trend that has gained momentum is the number of tabletop vendors diving into barware. Buoyed by the resurgence of home entertaining and crafting cocktails, tabletop brands have leveraged these trends and added their own take to the barware segment.
Consumers are enjoying new drink recipes while out at restaurants and bars and look to recreate them at home. As such, there has been an array of basic cocktail tools with a modern twist added to the market this year. Function always plays a significant role, but design was also a major factor in the latest barware launches.
