CashStar, which provides gift card e-commerce solutions for large merchants, has launched a new program with Belk, which will enable the department store’s customers to more easily send gifts directly from its website.
Belk customers who use CashStar Product eGifting can tailor gifts by choosing from a variety of designs and by providing personalized messages when sending eGift cards. Via eGifting, Belk shoppers can send a gift from Belk’s e-commerce site without knowing specific details like size and shipping address.
Under the program, a gift is delivered digitally along with a personal message to the recipient’s email address. On opening the email, the recipient can tailor the gift in terms of personal style and taste, or select a different product altogether. The recipient also can opt for an eGift Card in the value of the initial gift.
