Bialetti is bringing its Mineral-DS line of cookware to the market. The hard anodized, dishwasher-safe cookware line features a “micro-divot” textured non-stick interior that is designed to provide release, Bialetti said.
Mineral-DS also features a three-layer reinforced non-stick coating and is oven and metal-utensil safe, PFOA-free and can be used on any cooktop surface, including induction stoves, the company said.
Jason Vaske, vp/marketing of Bialetti, Bradshaw International, explained that a steel pellet blasting technique on the interior creates micro-divots on the surface, which increases the hardness of the interior.
“The micro-divots on the surface allow for even oil distribution for a better sear, while improving release with less contact between the pan and food,” he said.
Backed with the Bialetti lifetime guarantee, the Mineral-DS cookware line will be available in 8-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch sauté pans with a suggested retail price range of $34.99 to $54.99.
