The Biem butter sprayer from Brevda was featured on the October 14 episode of ABC’s “Shark Tank.”
On the show, the butter sprayer’s creator, Doug Foreman, was looking to make a deal for $500,000 for a 5% stake. After showing off the kitchen tool, Foreman struck a deal with shark Lori Greiner, an inventor and entrepreneur. She took a 14% stake in the company for Foreman’s asking price of $500,000.
Foreman also demonstrated how the butter sprayer converts a stick of butter from solid to liquid spray. The Biem butter sprayer uses a high-density rechargeable battery and can be stored in the refrigerator or at room temperature elsewhere in the kitchen. It hit the market via a Kickstarter campaign in early 2016.
