Black + Decker has launched its first line of home cleaning products designed for pets. The new lineup includes cordless lithium ion hand vacuums, a 20V Max 2-in-1 cordless vacuum and robotic vacuums.
The new cordless hand vacuums are suitable for quick pick-ups of pet hair. Each vacuum features specialized anti-tangle beater bars with rubberized bristles and a powered brush attachment with anti-tangle bristles to pick up pet hair. The line also includes the company’s Smartech sensing features, including AutoSense, PowerBoost and BatterySense. The cordless lithium-ion hand vacuums carry an MSRP of $69 to $99.
The 20V Max 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum is suitable for vacuuming floors and picking up small messes, and features a powered floor attachment head, which uses a rubber beater bar to catch pet hair, kitty litter, dry pet food and more. The 2-in-1 vacuum includes a fresh linen scented filter, designed to neutralize pet odors. The 2-in-1 vacuum carries an MSRP of $179.
The new line of Smartech robotic vacuums is also offered with a focus for pet owners. As previously reported by HomeWorld Business, the new robotic vacuums connect to the brand’s mobile app via Bluetooth, allowing users to control the vacuums from their smartphone.
The robotic line also features the same anti-tangle rubber bristles as the hand and 2-in-1 vacuums, and come with a large-capacity dustbin, among other features. The robotic vacuums carry an MSRP of $349 to $399.
The new vacuums will be available in spring 2017 at retailers nationwide.
