West Elm has appointed contract industry veteran Cheryl Carpenter to the position of vp/West Elm Workspace.
Carpenter was director of the seating category at Herman Miller, where she led the development and implementation of the overall category strategy.

West Elm launched its Workspace operation two years ago in partnership with Inscape and offers more than 2,000 contract-grade products, accessories and other office solutions.
