Small electrics supplier Chefman has officially launched Club Chefman, an online resource that allows consumers to obtain recipes to be used with the company’s appliances while also interacting with a professional chef who will answer cooking-related questions.
Announced at the International Home + Housewares Show in March, company officials said the website provides consumers a number of search methods to find the information they are seeking. For example, consumers can browse by meal, browse by product, popular searches and what is new.
“Consumers today want to be connected with companies that make the items they have in their homes,” said Pinny Kahana, Chefman’s vp/sales and marketing. ”We also want to maintain a relationship with the consumer after they purchase our product.”
As an example of the company’s “search by product” function, Club Chefman currently offers 24 recipes that can be used with its slow cooker. Among the recipes listed are baked potato casserole, Cajun stew, chicken and pasta soup, herbed mushrooms and Spanish meatballs.
The website also includes a number of long-form and short-form tutorials, with the long-form videos hosted by Chef Bobby Trevino. In addition, Trevino will also answer questions submitted by consumers.
