Clipper Corporation is introducing new licensed Allrecipes Sizzle Sensor cookware at the International Home + Housewares Show.
The Sizzle Sensor is a heat-sensitive indicator that changes from black to red to signal when the pan is preheated to 250° Fahrenheit, the ideal temperature for searing, frying and sautéing, the company said.
“Cooking at the ideal temperature locks in moisture and flavor, especially in meats,” said Jeff Malkasian, evp/Clipper Corporation. “The Sizzle Sensor lets the home cook know that the pan is ready to cook with a simple glance.”
The company has implemented this new technology into the fry pans in its Allrecipes Sizzle Sensor cookware. Each piece is constructed with forged aluminum and the interior is coated with titanium-infused, PFOA-free QuanTanium non-stick.
The Allrecipes Sizzle Sensor line is available in two sets: An 8-piece set that includes 1.5-quart and 2-quart saucepans and a 6-quart Dutch oven with vented glass lids, plus 8-inch and 10-inch fry pans. The 2-piece set includes 10-inch and 12-inch fry pans with the Sizzle Sensor indicators.
