The Companion Group has debuted new grilling tools, including the Grill Plank Flexi Basket and the Smoke Bar from its Charcoal Companion collection.
According to the company, any cut or several cuts of meat can be placed inside the Grill Plank Flexi Basket, along with a standard 5-inch by 12-inch wood plank. It can then be easily maneuvered over the grill. The basket has interlocking links that are non-stick and expandable. It is safe for charcoal, gas or electric grills, the company said, and has a suggested retail price of $12.99.
The new Charcoal Companion Smoke Bar can be used with traditional wood chip or pellet smokers to create a smoky environment within a grill, in order to add flavor to a meal, the company noted. The extra-long smoke bar also has a directed vent that forces the smoke out exactly onto the food. The smoke bar has a suggested retail price of $12.99.
