CHICAGO— Conair will launch a variety of new personal care appliances at this year’s International Home + Housewares Show, here.
For women, the company is set to unveil its InfinitiPro by Conair 3Q Dryer featuring Heat Protect Advanced Motor technology, InfinitiPro by Conair Diamond Brilliance Hot Brush and Conair MiniPro Hot Straightening Brush. The company will also be showcasing its Infiniti Pro lightweight AC Motor dryer.
For men, the company is launching a new grooming tool, the ConairMan i-Stubble Ultimate Trimmer.
In hair care, the company’s newest 3Q hair dryer was designed to be more compact and lightweight than its predecessor, and aims to dry hair ultra fast with less damage, the company said.
The dryer utilizes a brushless motor engineered with magnets and electronics, in lieu of carbon brushes found in other appliances, the company noted, and is said to provide rapid drying and professional performance.
In addition, the dryer is said to generate up to 70% more air pressure for ultra-fast drying with less heat, and features ionic technology which is said to reduce frizz by 75% and boost overall luster and shine. It is said to operate quietly without sacrificing power or performance due to its patent-pending, removable filter.
The dryer also includes a concentrator nozzle for precise styling and a diffuser to support curls and waves. It will be available at select mass market and drug retailers, Bed Bath & Beyond and Ulta Beauty stores with a manufacturers suggested retail price of $79.99.
The new Diamond Brilliance Hot Brush features advanced heat technology said to produce shiny, straight and smooth results for hair. It features nylon, silicone and ceramic-coated bristles and an ion generator, which is said to neutralize static to remove frizz and add shine.
The straightening brush is suitable for all hair types, and also includes three heat settings with 400-degree high heat, 30-second heat up time, six foot swivel cord and limited four year warranty.
The MiniPro Hot Straightening Brush was developed based on the success of the original Diamond Brilliance brush, the company said, and was designed with travel in mind. It is suitable for quick-touch ups, and features ceramic technology, which is said to eliminate damaging hot spots and add shine while reducing frizz. It also includes nylon and ceramic bristles, metal fins to transfer heat and a high heat temperature of 365-degrees.
The straightening brush features a pink color and carries a suggested retail price of $19.99.
According to the company, its Infiniti Pro lightweight AC motor dryer was the number one selling hair dryer launch for the holiday season according to IRI market research data, and will be featured at this year’s show.
The dryer is said to be 15% lighter than standard AC motors while producing 50% faster drying times and a three-time longer life than DC motors.
The 1,875-watt appliance includes an ionic generator said to reduce frizz by up to 75%, ceramic technology, three heat settings and two speed rocker switches. It features rose gold accents, and includes a concentrator and diffuser. It carries a manufacturers suggested retail price of $39.99.
The company’s new men’s grooming tool, the i-Stubble, model GMT99, features new blade technology with chemically formed, high-grade stainless steel blades. It also features a rechargeable lithium ion battery.
The unit includes an additional comb for longer trims, a detail and nose/ear attachment and pivoting head, and carries a manufacturers suggested retail price of $39.99.
