FRANKFURT— Newell Brands will showcase its latest beverageware designs under its Contigo and Rubbermaid brands at Ambiente at Messe Frankfurt, here.
New hydration for Contigo includes a 24-ounce Autoseal Chill water bottle, with a suggested retail price of $22.99. It features the brand’s patented Autoseal lid, said to automatically seal between sips to eliminate spills and leaks. It is also features Thermalock double-wall vacuum-insulated stainless steel, which is said to keep drinks cold for up to 28 hours.
Contigo’s Autospout Chug water bottle leverages the brand’s proprietary technology for one-handed drinking. To use, the consumer presses a button for the spout to pop open. It holds 24 ounces and has an SRP of $19.99.
The Thermalock Couture water bottle is said to keep drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 10 hours and features a wide mouth for comfortable drinking and full body graphics. It has an SRP
of $19.99.
New at Ambiente in the thermal segment for Contigo is its TwistSeal Eclipse travel mug, available in 16- or 20-ounce sizes, which feature a Cleanguard spout cover to keep germs out while the user is on-the-go. The lid is said to be leak proof and a drop down seal mechanism allows for easier cleaning, according to the company. Double-wall vacuum insulated stainless steel keeps beverages hotter or colder for longer. The SRPs are $15.99 and $17.99, respectively.
Contigo’s TwistSeal Glaze travel mug features a ceramic coating applied to cover the entire inner wall to eliminate any metallic taste. This double wall vacuum stainless steel mug features Cleanguard spout cover, holds 16 ounces, and has a suggested retail price of $19.99.
All of the above have an anticipated availability of April 2017.
For kids, Contigo’s 14-ounce spill-proof kids tumbler features a spill-proof valve in the straw aiming to minimize leaks and spills and a silicone grommet seals around the straw for added protection. The availability for shipping is March 2017, and it has an SRP of $9.99.
New hydration for Rubbermaid at Ambiente includes a Tritan chug water bottle, which features a protective spout to help keep out dirt and germs. It is available in 24-ounce and 32-ounces sizes for $6.99 and $8.99, respectively. The 32-ounce version is also available with accessories, either with an infuser muddler or a blue ice stick to keep beverages colder for longer.
Rubbermaid’s straw water bottle is available in the same sizes and accessory pricepoint options as the chug water bottle. This Tritan bottle features an integrated spout cover to help keep out dirt and germs, with a retractable pull tab straw with the intention to make it easier to open and close.
For thermal, Rubbermaid will feature its flip lid travel mugs featuring double-wall vacuum insulation, which depending on the mug’s size, keeps drinks hot or cold for a different number of hours. It is available in 10-ounce ($7.99), 12-ounce ($8.99) and 16-ounces ($9.99).
For kids, Rubbermaid’s sip kids water bottle, SRP $4.99, features an integrated spout cover and a carry handle for on-the-go transport. It is top-rack dishwasher safe. A chug kids water bottle (SRP $4.99) features a wide chug interface for easy drinking and high flow, a protective spout cover, and a tethered cap for no loose parts, according to the company.
All of the Rubbermaid beverageware products have an anticipated availability for spring 2017.
