CHICAGO— Cuisivin is debuting new whisky, beer and coffee specific glasses at the International Home + Housewares Show, here.
The company’s Glendale whisky glass is made from fine German made lead free crystalline. The short stemmed, tulip-shaped glass presents the fine complexities and nuances of whisky, including Single barrel bourbons, Single Malts, Scotch or Irish Whiskeys. Specially designed for nosing, the bowl’s semi-flattened bottom is built for subtle swirling, gently releasing complex aromatics, which are then captured in the glass’s raised taper.
Cuisivin will also debut new glasses under its MasterBrew collection. The MasterBrew Amber glass features a voluminous body with a narrowing top, which helps with head retention. It is recommended for serving Scottish or Belgian ales, or other aromatic beers.
The MasterBrew Sienna glass is designed to accentuate the rich coffee and chocolate notes associated with Stout beer. The glass style features a functional design with an open bottom glass base which drives beer and aromatic foam up into the main bowl.
MasterBrew Ochre features a simple design making it ideal for serving a variety of drinks, including cider, soda and water.
Cuisivin’s Fizzup glass is specially designed with a laser etched bottom
to provide enhanced flavor and freshness while maintaining a
longer-lasting head.
The Weizen glass is designed for serving wheat beers. Featuring long curved walls and a widened top, this glass showcases the color and head of wheat beers well, while trapping the sediment often found at the narrow bottom of the glass.
Also at the show, the Caffé Collection cups will exhibit contemporary designs with curved inner bases that promote continuous flow of the coffee when poured, which is said to release richer aromas and flavors. The thick wall of the glasses is said to maintain temperature and freshness. Available in the collection are espresso, latte, cappuccino and Americano glasses.
