The Dallas Market Center has announced the judging panel for the Gourmet Gold Housewares Awards. The Awards will be held during the Dallas Total Housewares & Gourmet Market, which is set to take place from January 18 to 24, 2017.
The judges are:
- Kent Rathbun, four-time James Beard nominated chef and restauranteur.
- Mark Vamos, business journalism professor, Southern Methodist University, and Dallas Morning News special contributor.
- Karen Chandler, owner of Kitchenwares on the Square, McKinney, TX.

The Gourmet Gold Housewares Awards will present awards in eight categories with a special Best in Class award selected from among the category recipients. The January 2017 award categories include Cookware/Bakeware, Kitchen Electrics, Kitchen Tools & Gadgets, Serveware, Cutlery, Barware, Kitchen Textiles, and Beverageware.
