Dallas Market Center is now accepting entries for the first Gourmet Gold Housewares Awards. The awards will be held at Dallas Market Center during the Dallas Total Housewares & Gourmet Market, set to take place from January 18 to 24, 2017. Entries are open through November 13.
The first annual Gourmet Gold Housewares Awards are sponsored by GOURMET INSIDER®, sister publication to HOMEWORLD BUSINESS®.
The Gourmet Gold Housewares Awards will present awards in eight categories with a special Best in Class award selected from among the category recipients. Categories will include cookware/bakeware; kitchen electrics; kitchen tools and gadgets; serveware; cutlery; barware; kitchen textiles; and beverageware.
Housewares product entries will be judged based on innovation, user-friendliness and visual appeal. Participation is limited to current Dallas Market Center permanent or temporary housewares exhibitors, and products must be introduced to the market between February 28, 2016, and January 2017.
The entry fee is $50 per entry or three entries for $100. The first six exhibitors to enter three submissions will be featured on a special Gourmet Gold Housewares Shelf Talk page in Gourmet Insider magazine.
