DKB Household will debut its Zyliss Prawn & Shrimp Deveiner at the upcoming International Home + Housewares Show.
According to the company, the new seafood tool has a soft-touch grip handle and features a scissor-like end to cut and remove a prawn head. It also has a curved point that follows the shape of a prawn’s body to cleanly remove the shell.
The tool’s sharp edge is designed to get under the seafood shell easily in order to remove it and to devein in one step, the company noted. The silicone strap provides controlled scissor action.
The new Zyliss Prawn & Shrimp Deveiner will be available in June and will have a suggested retail price of $5.99.
