Emile Henry has launched the “Bread Makes the Meal” giveaway. The social media contest will run until November 17, which is National Homemade Bread Day.
The company noted that it has borrowed the name, “Bread Makes the Meal,” from bread baker and teacher, Priscilla Martel and has partnered with her to spread the story of how to make bread.
To enter, home bakers can go to the company’s Facebook page and submit one of their favorite bread recipes. Consumers can enter as many times as they want. The one requirement is that they enter a different recipe each time they enter. The winner of the giveaway will receive a bread baker’s kit full of bread baking items just in time for Thanksgiving, the company said.
The prize includes an Emile Henry ceramic bread cloche, 6-quart Duralex glass bowl, Rösle kitchen digital scale, large Lékué baking mat, Shun Sora bread knife and a bag of King Arthur flour. The prize is valued at about $400.
