Epoca International has won a 2016 Good Design award for its Ecolution Micro-Pop microwave popcorn popper.
According to the company, the Micro-Pop is designed to make healthier popcorn in the microwave without the need for added oils or butter. It is made of temperature-safe borosilicate glass with a heat-resistant protective cage that secures the glass body from breakage and allows the consumer to safely handle popcorn directly from a microwave. The dual-function silicone lid serves as a measuring cup for popcorn kernels and can evenly melt and distribute butter if the user desires.
“It is a great privilege to be recognized with a Good Design Award,” said Brian Melzer, president of Epoca International. “The Ecolution Micro-Pop was an important innovation for us, as we continuously look to offer products to complement a healthy lifestyle. We are thrilled that our unique design has been recognized and added to the accolades the product has received from customers across the country.”
