Fair Cookware has launched a Kickstarter project dubbed ‘”Care For Hunger.” The campaign is based on a “buy one, give one” philosophy, the company said.
The company has developed four different cast iron skillets— the Long John, the Slow Joe, the Daisy May and the Pretty Ellen— and are aiming to provide 350,000 high-quality and competitively priced cast iron skillets to both consumers and those struggling with everyday essentials, the company said. For every skillet purchased, the purchaser will donate the exact same one to someone in need.
The skillets are pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and come with dual pour spouts. The company estimated that the line will be available in summer 2018.
