Homer Laughlin China will reveal its new Fiesta color and new product introductions for 2017 to retailers at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market, beginning on January 10.
The company will not be attending the International Home + Housewares Show in Chicago in March, the show at which it has historically unveiled its new color. The company also announced that Fiesta color, Paprika, will retire in 2017 to make way for this new color.
“We’ve put a lot of thought and consideration into when and where we make our new color announcement,” said Rich Brinkman, vp/sales and marketing, Homer Laughlin. “Much of this decision is brought on by the fact that the buyers we work with have an expanded workload. This enables us to take a little stress off of them, providing for more timely planning. It also allows for a wide spectrum of independent retailers to experience the rollout of the new color.”
Fiesta dinnerware is sold at better department stores, independent retailers and e-commerce, with various items available exclusively at each. “We resonate with each of these retail audiences and the Atlanta Market enables us to reach this expanded audience in the most efficient way possible,” added Brinkman.
