Fox Run Brands has renamed Ironwood Gourmet to Ironwood. The line features acacia wood pieces, such as cutting boards and serving bowls, which are said to be responsibly sourced and naturally antibacterial.
“The decision to remove ‘gourmet’ from branding is a central tenet of the overall brand update. Ironwood pieces are increasingly being used beyond the kitchen and we wanted the name to reflect this change,” said Sean Leonard, Fox Run CEO. “We wanted to transition the brand to focus on the elevated lifestyle pieces that our customers are incorporating into their homes and restaurants.”
According to the company, the product selection in the line will remain the same but branding changes will be unveiled throughout the year, most notably a new logo and updated consumer website.
New additions to the Ironwood line include the Union Stock Yard Butcher Block and the Lucca Mini Pizza Peel, a smaller version of the Napoli Pizza Peel.
